Some commenters on this website address me with the honorific ‘Prabhu’. I do not like this address for the following reasons:
- There is only one Prabhu, and that is Bhagavān.
- Calling me, a mere sādhaka in the material world, Prabhu, is an insult to Bhagavān.
- The identity I am trying to develop is of dāsa, and being referred to as the word ‘Prabhu’ is opposed to my goal.
Please keep this in mind before commenting.

The only ones who are our Prabhus are Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, Nityananda Prabhu and Advaita Prabhu. This practice of addressing every Tom,Dick and Harry as “Prabhu” but then actually treating them as anything but is downright stupid and hypocritical.

Yes I remember introducing a bhakta once as ‘dasa’. He got offended. Why did you not call me prabhu?
