Prayer to the Six Gosvāmīs by Śrīnivāsa Ācārya  (Śrī Babaji’s translation)

(1) 

kṛṣṇotkīrtana-gāna-nartana-parau premāmṛtāmbho-nidhī dhīrādhīra-jana-priyau priya-karau nirmatsarau pūjitau śrī-caitanya-kṛpā-bharau bhuvi bhuvo bhārāvahantārakau vande rūpa-sanātanau raghu-yugau śrī-jīva-gopālakau

I offer my respectful obeisances unto Śrī Rūpa Gosvāmī, Śrī Sanātana Gosvāmī, Śrī Raghunātha Bhaṭṭa Gosvāmī, Śrī Raghunātha dāsa Gosvāmī, Śrī Jīva Gosvāmī, and Śrī Gopāla Bhaṭṭa Gosvāmī, who are ever absorbed in singing and dancing in loud kīrtana of Kṛṣṇa’s names, who are an ocean of the nectar of love, who are dear to the sober and the capricious alike and who are free from envy and worshipable by all. They are always engaged in helping others and have appeared on the earth to remove its burden. 

(2) 

nānā-śāstra-vicāraṇaika-nipuṇau sad-dharma-saṁsthāpakau lokānāṁ hita-kāriṇau tri-bhuvane mānyau śaraṇyākarau rādhā-kṛṣṇa-padāravinda-bhajanānandena mattālikau vande rūpa-sanātanau raghu-yugau śrī-jīva-gopālakau 

Expert in analyzing various scriptures to establish pure devotion for the benefit of all; honored in all the three worlds; worthy of submission; like maddened bumblebees intoxicated by the bliss of service to the lotus feet of Śrī Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa—I offer my respectful obeisances to Rūpa and Sanātana, to the two Raghunāthas, and to Jīva and Gopāla. 

(3) 

śrī-gaurāṅga-guṇānuvarṇana-vidhau śraddhā-samṛddhy-anvitau pāpottāpa-nikṛntanau tanu-bhṛtāṁ govinda-gānāmṛtaiḥ ānandāmbudhi-vardhanaika-nipuṇau kaivalya-nistārakau vande rūpa-sanātanau raghu-yugau śrī-jīva-gopālakau 

Endowed with deep faith in describing the many qualities of Śrī Caitanya; relieving embodied beings from suffering the results of their past sins by distributing the nectar of the praises of Govinda; very expert in expanding the ocean of bliss and dispelling the desire for impersonal liberation—I offer my respectful obeisances to Rūpa and Sanātana, to the two Raghunāthas, and to Jīva and Gopāla. 

(4) 

tyaktvā tūrṇam aśeṣa-maṇḍala-pati-śreṇīṁ sadā tuccha-vat bhūtvā dīna-gaṇeśakau karuṇayā kaupīna-kanthāśritau gopī-bhāva-rasāmṛtābdhi-laharī-kallola-magnau muhur vande rūpa-sanātanau raghu-yugau śrī-jīva-gopālakau 

Completely renouncing all wealth and royal association as if it was nothing at all, they very humbly accept the dress of mendicants and remain merged in the waves of the nectar-ocean of gopī-prema. I offer my respectful obeisances to Rūpa and Sanātana, to the two Raghunāthas, and to Jīva and Gopāla. 

(5) 

kūjat-kokila-haṁsa-sārasa-gaṇākīrṇe mayūrākule nānā-ratna-nibaddha-mūla-viṭapa-śrī-yukta-vṛndāvane rādhā-kṛṣṇam ahar-niśaṁ prabhajatau jīvārthadau yau mudā vande rūpa-sanātanau raghu-yugau śrī-jīva-gopālakau 

Absorbed day and night in the service of Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa in the beautiful land of Vṛndāvana, which is full of a host of sweetly singing birds like peacocks, cuckoos, swans and cranes, and where every tree has valuable jewels at its root, they happily bestow prema upon the living beings. I offer my respectful obeisances to Rūpa and Sanātana, to the two Raghunāthas, and to Jīva and Gopāla. 

(6) 

saṅkhyā-pūrvaka-nāma-gāna-natibhiḥ kālāvasānī-kṛtau nidrāhāra-vihārakādi-vijitau cātyanta-dīnau ca yau rādhā-kṛṣṇa-guṇa-smṛter madhurimānandena sammohitau vande rūpa-sanātanau raghu-yugau śrī-jīva-gopālakau

Engaging in humbly bowing down to Kṛṣṇa, counting their chanting of His names, and fully regulating their sleeping, eating, and so on; always in ecstasy from the bliss of the sweetness of remembering the virtues of Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa—I offer my respectful obeisances to Rūpa and Sanātana, to the two Raghunāthas, and to Jīva and Gopāla. 

(7) 

rādhā-kuṇḍa-taṭe kalinda-tanayā-tīre ca vaṁśīvaṭe premonmāda-vaśād aśeṣa-daśayā grastau pramattau sadā gāyantau ca kadā harer guṇa-varaṁ bhāvābhibhūtau mudā vande rūpa-sanātanau raghu-yugau śrī-jīva-gopālakau 

Maddened and possessed by ecstatic love while they wander along the banks of Rādhā-kuṇḍa, the river Yamunā, and Vaṁśīvaṭa; suddenly and happily erupting in song about the wonderful qualities of Kṛṣṇa—I offer my respectful obeisances to Rūpa and Sanātana, to the two Raghunāthas, and to Jīva and Gopāla. 

(8) 

he rādhe vraja-devike ca lalite he nanda-sūno kutaḥ śrī-govardhana-kalpa-pādapa-tale kālindī-vane kutaḥ ghoṣantāv iti sarvato vraja-pure khedair mahā-vihvalau vande rūpa-sanātanau raghu-yugau śrī-jīva-gopālakau 

Impatient from separation from their beloveds, they wander all over Vṛndāvana, shouting, “O Rādhā! O Vraja-devikā! O Lalitā! O Son of Nanda! Where are You? Are You under a wish-fulfilling tree on Govardhana? Are You in the forest on the bank of the Yamunā? Where are You?” I offer my respectful obeisances to Rūpa and Sanātana, to the two Raghunāthas, and to Jīva and Gopāla.
