Q: Where should I begin studying Gaudiya siddhanta? There are so many resources available that it feels overwhelming. Also for understanding the acintya-bheda-abheda-siddhanta, which would be more suitable — Govinda bhasya or the Sat-Sandarbhas?
A: Sat Sandarbhas are the foundation of the Caitanya parampara. The Goswamis are the acaryas. Their books must be learned from a teacher who has learned it (every line) from his or her teacher in the parampara. Not by self-study
Q: Thank you. I have one more question. I have heard many Gaudiyas frequently quoting the Sandarbhas and other texts by the Goswamis, but I have rarely heard anyone quoting the Govinda-bhasya, while other sampradayas often refer to their respective bhasyas for philosophical understanding. Therefore, how important is it for a Gaudiya to study the Govinda-bhasya, or is studying the Sat-sandarbhas under the guidance of a bona fide teacher sufficient.
A: The bhasyas in other sampradayas- like the Sri Bhasya- are their foundational books. The Sandarbhas are our foundational books. This is because our pramana is Bhagavata, not the Vedanta sutras. Once one fully understands the Sandarbhas, then one could study the Govinda bhasya if needed. The reason is that one must interpret and harmonize the bhasya in line with the Sandarbhas.
Q: What do you mean by “Our pramana is Bhagavata and not Vedanta?” Are we not Vedantins when the Gaudiyas come under the lineage of Vyasadeva? Could you please elaborate?
A: We derive our philosophical principles from the Bhagavatam. We interpret all other scriptures including Bhagavad Gita or Vedanta-sutras or Upanisads on the basis of the Bhagavatam.
Q: So is the Bhagavatam the most important text for Gaudiyas? Were the Sat-Sandarbhas by Jiva Goswami also based on the Bhagavatam? Did Caitanya Mahaprabhu consider the Bhagavatam as the supreme text as well?
A: Yes to all.
Sat-Sandarbhas are a systematic analysis of the Bhagavatam. Otherwise the Bhagavatam is a very complex book that can be interpreted in different ways.

I have a question for a long time. Whenever I see Shrivas Prabhu in the Panchtatva, a question arises in my mind. Shrivas Prabhu is counted among the living elements. But does Shrivas Prabhu have all the powers that the other four Acharyas have? Does Shrivas Prabhu also come from the antaranga sakti of the Lord?
I checked with Babaji. He thinks Srivas Prabhu is a nitya siddha jiva like Sri Garuda
Does tatastha shakti arise from swaroop shakti?
It does not arise from anywhere or anything. It is anadi or without beginning
Can a soul accept Sārūpya, Sāmīpya, Sālokya and Sārṣṭi liberation simultaneously?
Samipya implies salokya- so yes, one could say that the Jiva got both.

I am now 18 years old, and I am eager to learn more about spirituality. That is why I am trying to understand the principles of Vaishnava Acharyas of different sects, such as Shuddhadvaita, Vishishtadvaita, Dvaitadvaita, Dvaita, and Achintya Bhedabheda.
Obviously, the opinions of all Acharyas are not the same. Therefore, questions sometimes arise in my mind, and these questions might seem absurd or meaningless at times.
For example, I had earlier asked you, “Who are the sons of Lord Shri Krishna and Lord Shri Ram?” I asked this question because the sons of Lord Shri Krishna are sometimes considered incarnations of demi-gods and sometimes described as personal extensions of God by the Acharyas. Regarding Luv and Kush, there is no specific description of who they were.
So, please forgive me for such questions. It will take me some time to understand all these concepts.
